Program Goal
The goal of the Energy Healing Career Studies is to develop practitioners who are competent and knowledgeable in contemporary as well as time-honored healing practices. A large component of the program will deal with assessment and effective engagement of the client's energy field and the development of each student's unique qualities as a healer.
Energy work comprises a range of dynamic and versatile modalities that work with the electro-magnetic field of the body, often referred to as the human energy field, to promote health and well-being. These many energy work modalities bring balance, clarity, strength and repair to the energetic structures, levels and functions that comprise the human energy field. Energy work directly affects a person's physical, mental and emotional functioning and spiritual connectedness.
Energy work modalities can stand alone as independent treatment forms and can be integrated into massage therapy sessions to enhance and support the massage treatments.
Type of Instruction
Instruction for the Energy Healing Career Studies consists of lecture and hands-on technique work. Classes are interactive. Instructors use class discussions and activities, PowerPoint presentations, demonstrations and individual practice time as teaching tools.
Employment Potential
Employment opportunities for completers of this career study are typically in private practice. Many graduates use this as an adjunct to a massage therapy profession.

Academic Standards
Students must pass all required courses.
Credentials Given
Students can earn a 100-hour and a 200-hour certificate.
