Over the years, MTTI has trained hundreds of successful therapists. Our curriculum prepares graduates to become nationally certified and to be licensed in Missouri and most other states.

Philosophy
Massage Therapy Training Institute was founded in 1988 based on a strong belief in the healing power of touch. Teaching the art of therapeutic massage, modeling professional integrity and educating the public regarding the many health benefits of massage became the cornerstone of the school.
Our programs have evolved to embrace a broader, more holistic approach to health care, including modalities that address the body, mind, emotions and spirit of both students and prospective clients. The learning environment at MTTI is one of support, encouragement, humor and personal empowerment. The teacher/student ratio is kept low to maximize personal attention and success! We expect uncompromising commitment to professional ethics from every student and instructor.

Healing Arts Focus
Massage therapy has been the total focus of MTTI for over 19 years. While massage for many schools is just another program among many, at MTTI it is our reason for being. This provides a very different learning environment and greater integration of all that we teach. At MTTI, students learn more than technical skills; they learn to become healing arts professionals.
Comprehensive Training
MTTI is proud to announce an 81% pass rate on the National Certification Exam (NCE). The national average is only 68%. Our high pass rate reflects our comprehensive curriculum and excellent instruction.
Choice
MTTI offers two scheduling options. Our Daytime schedule allows you to complete your massage therapy training in under 12 months by attending classes two days per week with no evenings or weekends. Our Evening/Weekend schedule allows you to complete the program in less that 14 months by attending classes two evening per week and some weekends. In addition to massage therapy training, MTTI offers solid basics in general wellness, nutrition, and stress management to accommodate the growing demand for help in achieving a natural wellness lifestyle. Use the skill you'll learn for yourself or in your practice.
Continuous Career Support
MTTI's career placement team helps students discover the career niche that is just right for them, and then we help them connect with preferred employers in the area. MTTI doesn't guarantee placement, but we are proud of our high job placement rate. We also work with practicing graduates to provide referrals, job leads, and extensive opportunities for continuing education.
