Program Goal
MTTI's 750-hour Massage Therapy Program is designed to provide a solid and comprehensive foundation in bodywork theory, technique and business practices. Graduates of the program are eligible to sit for the National Certification Exam and for licensing in Missouri and most other states and municipalities.
The most unique feature of the MTTI 750-hour program is the incorporation of a basic wellness curriculum. Practitioners increasingly find that clients are craving direct and honest guidance about how to maintain a natural wellness lifestyle. Our program prepares practitioners to provide this guidance with the inclusion of classes on stress management, nutrition and communication skills.
Type of Instruction
Instruction consists of lecture and hands-on technique work. Classes are interactive. Instructors use class discussions, activities, PowerPoint presentations, demonstrations, and practice time as teaching tools.
Employment Potential
A student completings this program can expect to achieve basic levels of competence suitable for most entry-level jobs in a wide variety of employment situations, including spas and resorts, salons, hospitals, wellness centers, medical offices, health clubs, private practice and much more.

Academic Standards
Students must pass all required courses for successful completion of the program.
Credentials Given
Graduates of the 750-hour Massage Therapy Program receive a diploma and are credentialed as a Massage Therapy Practitioner.
Program Duration
Number of weeks and hours for the program:
Evening/Weekend Schedule: Full-time students in the Evening/Weekend program will complete the massage therapy program in 18 months by taking a minimum of 120 class hours per term. This is equivalent to two evening classes each week and two weekend classes per month.
Accelerated Schedule: For those students with weekdays available and who want to complete the program as quickly as possible, we offer an accelerated schedule. Students will complete the program in 10 months, attending class two full days each week, six to eight hours per day (sixteen to eighteen hours per week).
